At the beginning of the meeting, He Yong, director of industry entrepreneurship and development of the Association, introduced to the delegates the work of the Association in promoting reusable plastic crates in recent years, especially the "fresh supply chain Standardization Action Plan" launched by SPAR China, Fresh Legend, Hundred Orchard and other dozens of retail enterprises in 2019, which greatly improved the awareness and attention of industry enterprises to reusable plastic crates. At the same time, the association also revised the "T/CCFAGS 019-2020 Operational Specifications for Fruit and Vegetable Reusable Plastic Crates" released in 2020 this year, and officially released the "T/CCFAGS 019-2023 Operational Specifications for Fruit and Vegetable Reusable Plastic Crates" in June this year.

At the same time, the association director Tian RuiFeng also introduced in the speech session, Shandong is the association to determine the promotion of reusable plastic crates after the first research place, that year, through the Jiajiayue, Weifang Zhongbai, Quan Fuyuan and other retailers, Shandong ZhongDeLi and other fruit and vegetable wholesalers and distributors of in-depth research, to determine the association of reusable plastic crates to promote the two-step strategy, that is, the first step to the retail enterprise, to improve the breadth of application of reusable plastic crates; the second step to the upper reaches of the fruit and vegetable dealers, wholesalers, rural cooperatives and growers. The second step focuses on upstream fruit and vegetable distributors, wholesalers, rural cooperatives and growers to realize the depth of swing basket application. According to the research on the popularity of reusable plastic crates conducted by the Association in 2022, the proportion of China's top 100 supermarkets adopting reusable plastic crates has exceeded 60%, so the strategy of reusable plastic crates promotion has formally moved from the first step to the second step.

At the meeting, Mr. Huang Si, senior expert of  IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, shared the business model of European reusable plastic crates, especially the SRS recycling system of reusable plastic crates. At the same time, Ms. Li Xiaoling, Senior Manager of LOSCAM Logistics Equipment Leasing (Beijing) Co., LTD. also publicized the standard of "T/CCFAGS 019-2023 Operational Specifications for Fruit and Vegetable Reusable Plastic Crates".

Yao Yingmiao, fresh food logistics manager from Jiajiayue, shared the experience of improving the application of fresh food standard parts. Jiajiayue has established counterpart cooperation with more than 1,500 fresh food bases across the country, and more than 85% of fresh food products have realized "base direct picking", and reusable plastic crateshave been widely used, which has greatly improved the efficiency of fresh food supply chain.

In addition, for the previous research found in the reusable plastic crates management is insufficient, easy to lose and other issues, the meeting invited Shandong Institute of Standardization Institute of coding technology senior engineer Liu Lihong, introduced the GS1 global unified identification system in the reusable plastic crates in the application of the different levels of the supply chain from commodity coding, logistics packaging coding, logistics carrier coding and so on in turn to start. Meanwhile, Mr. Wu Jiang, Sales Director of Sichuangyihui Technology Co., Ltd. shared the application of FRID technology in the traceability management of the use process of reusable plastic crates.

Tang Haibin, Operation Director of SPAR China, introduced to the conference delegates the key points of building a reusable plastic crates cycle system, including the planning of the cycle system, the design of the cycle process, and the execution and management of the cycle, which involves the loading standard of the baskets, the calculation of the quantity of the carriers, the handing over process, the application of the system, and the testing and reviewing of the system, etc. It was also suggested that the enterprises are able to manage their respective logistic carriers as well as their own commodities.

In addition, five fruit and vegetable suppliers and agricultural cooperatives have become demonstration units for the application of standardized fruit and vegetable reusable plastic crates.

In the afternoon, the delegates went to the newly-built logistics and distribution center of Jiajiaoyue for a visiting trip. Manager Lin Guoquan, in charge of the center, introduced the construction and operation of the distribution center and gave professional answers to the questions raised by the representatives.
