On October 31, at the invitation of the Xingtai Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, the "Agricultural Sustainable Circulation Development Project" conducted a dedicated training session at the Hampton Hotel on Xingzhou Avenue, Xingtai. Over 200 participants, representing more than 180 business entities from 20 counties and districts under Xingtai's jurisdiction, attended the session.
Peng Tian, a third-level researcher at the Xingtai Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, delivered the opening remarks. He emphasized that fresh agricultural products are a critical component of agricultural product circulation, with their quality and efficiency directly impacting consumer health and market stability. Promoting the sustainable development of agricultural product circulation is a shared responsibility and mission of both the government and society.
The training featured expert lectures by Xuanming Tang, a researcher from the Institute of Agro-Products Processing at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Hui Zhou, an associate researcher from the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development; and Yue Ma, Technical Manager at Copeland Environmental Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. Topics included fruit and vegetable preservation and processing, pre-cooling and storage technologies for fresh produce and best practices for production bases. The session aimed to support Xingtai in advancing the green and high-quality development of its agricultural product supply chain while fostering awareness of sustainable agricultural practices.
