This specialized training was part of the "2024 National Agricultural Product Production-Sales Matchmaking Event Supporting Rural Revitalization (Henan)," a forum that serves as the fourth station in the year-long series of matchmaking events. The project aims to enhance the quality of local agricultural product supply in Xun County, support local agricultural branding efforts, and promote the integration of production and sales, contributing to rural revitalization.

The training invited experts including Hui Zhou, Associate Researcher from the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Jianjun Huang, Director of the Food Safety and Quality Management Department at Zhejiang Mingkanghui Ecological Agriculture Group Co., Ltd. They provided training on topics such as food safety management for agricultural production bases and post-harvest requirements and standards for retail chains and supermarkets. Combining theory and practice, the training emphasized developing participants' awareness of green and sustainable agricultural development and market-oriented thinking. The SAFE Project hopes this public training session will support the green development of Hebi City's fruit and vegetable agricultural product supply chain, contributing to farmer prosperity and agricultural advancement.
