Sustainable Agricultural Product Distribution Project Joins Forces with the Institute of Plant Protection of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to Support Green, High-Quality Grape Production

On December 6, at the invitation of the Institute of Plant Protection of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), a special training session for the Sustainable Agricultural Product Distribution Project (SADP) was successfully held in Chaohu City, Anhui Province. 61 cooperative representatives and 95 growers from the National Grape Industry Association and other business entities attended the training and received certificates.

This training was part of the high-level forum at the 17th National Grape Pest and Disease Control Technology and Experience Seminar, the grape industry’s annual academic conference. Experts from institutions, universities, and enterprises were invited to lead the training, including Wang Zhongyue, researcher at the Institute of Plant Protection, CAAS; Zhou Hui, associate researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, CAAS; Ren Shuxia, professor at the College of Agricultural Economics and Management, Shanxi Agricultural University; and Wang Hai, project director of Shanghai Yuez Consulting Co., Ltd. Topics covered included the construction and development of standardized demonstration farms and farm clusters, the challenges and prospects for fresh agricultural product distribution, agricultural product branding, and retail fresh product procurement requirements. Representatives from Baiguoyuan and Xi Tea, as well as planting experts, were also invited to participate in the event.

After the training, Professor Mu Weisong from China Agricultural University organized a forum for exchange, where participants actively engaged in discussions with the lecturers and experts.

The sustainable development project for agricultural product circulation will continue to explore and collaborate with more institutions and chain retail enterprises, actively promoting public welfare training on quality improvement and efficiency enhancement for fresh agricultural products to a wider range of fruit and vegetable cultivation and management entities, thereby facilitating the green and sustainable production of high-quality agricultural products.
