On December 10, at the invitation of the Handan Supply and Marketing Cooperative, a special training session for the Sustainable Agricultural Product Distribution Project (SADP) and New Farmers’ Training in Handan, Hebei Province, was successfully held. Zhang Jun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Handan Supply and Marketing Cooperative, and Cui Yong, Third-Level Researcher at the Handan Supply and Marketing Cooperative, attended the event and delivered opening remarks.

The training invited experts from institutions, universities, and enterprises, including Zhou Hui, associate researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Li Binglong, professor at China Agricultural University; and Shi Tongxin, expert from Alibaba Group’s Rural Revitalization Department. The experts delivered training on topics such as the challenges and prospects of agricultural product production and distribution, agricultural product branding, and Alibaba's digital initiatives to support rural industrial revitalization.

More than 180 representatives from more than 70 supply and marketing societies in Handan City and its cooperatives and agricultural companies attended the training.
