On September 3rd, at the invitation of the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Lingshou County, Hebei Province, the "Special Training on the SAFE project and High-Quality Farmers Training Course in Lingshou County" was successfully launched at Zhongshan Hotel in Lingshou County. The training attracted around 100 participants, including leading vegetable and fruit growers, large-scale corn and soybean producers, and agricultural product processing enterprise leaders from Lingshou County, all of whom successfully earned certificates upon completion.

Zhifeng Zhang, Director of the Lingshou County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, delivered the opening speech for the training program.

The session featured three distinguished experts from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS): Associate Researcher Hui Zhou from the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, Associate Researcher Baoyuan Zhou from the Institute of Crop Science, and Director Han Xiao from the Meat Science and Nutrition Engineering Innovation Team's Pilot Laboratory at the Institute of Agro-Products Processing. They provided in-depth lectures on critical topics, including sustainable management of agricultural bases, strip intercropping techniques for corn and soybeans, and meat processing technology and quality control. Additionally, they analyzed Lingshou County's industrial planning from the perspectives of branding fresh agricultural products and innovating processed agricultural goods, aiming to further advance the sustainable development of agricultural product distribution in Lingshou.

After the training, participants actively interacted with the expert lecturers, engaging in on-site discussions and Q&A sessions.

The SAFE Project training not only plays a positive role in promoting the branding and marketization of Lingshou's fresh and processed agricultural product value chains but also enhances farmers' planting and processing techniques and their awareness of sustainable agriculture. This initiative lays a solid foundation for the development of high-quality rural revitalization talents.
