Connecting Production and Sales Resources to Boost Farmers' Income
2024-09-11

September marks the potato harvest season in Chayouzhong Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Many farmers face urgent challenges in finding market channels to sell their potatoes. In response, our foundation, together with the Jiazhong Plan Chayouzhong Banner Volunteer Service Team, quickly took action. They reached out to the China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA), actively collecting key information on agricultural product types and yields. Through this collaboration, the goal is to link farmers with enterprises, supermarkets, and other sales resources to address their pressing sales challenges.

The cooperation between our foundation and CCFA began with a rural talent development public welfare project. On June 27 and July 25, the two organizations jointly held "Second-Level Trainer" training sessions at the Jiazhong Plan Potato Modern Agricultural Technology Practice Camp in Chayouzhong Banner and the Jiazhong Plan Wheat Modern Agricultural Technology Practice Camp in Huaxian County, respectively. These training sessions, as part of the SAFE Project, aimed to impart knowledge on agricultural product distribution and awarded completion certificates to outstanding participants.

Founded in 1997, the China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA) is the official representative of China's retail and franchise industries, bringing together over 1,200 member enterprises. These members span retail, catering, services, suppliers, and related organizations. Guided by its mission to "lead the industry, serve members, give back to society, and improve itself," CCFA participates in policy formulation and coordination, protects the interests of the industry and its members, and provides members with professional training and industry development information. It has also built a platform for industry exchange and cooperation, committed to advancing the sustainable development of the chain business sector.

Moving forward, both parties will deepen their collaboration to jointly promote rural talent development initiatives, connect production and sales resources, foster regional brand development, and enhance agricultural product sales, thereby effectively helping farmers increase their income.
